SCANDICCI, September 1, 2025 – GEST announces that Cobas Lavoro Privato has called a 24-hour company-wide strike scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2025. As a result, tram services may be subject to delays or cancellations throughout the day.

Service Availability
Essential service will be guaranteed during the following time slots:

• 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The strike will involve both operational staff and other company departments. Service disruptions will depend on the level of employee participation. Previous strikes organized by the same union saw a 15% participation rate.

Reasons for the Strike
The union has cited several issues, including:

• Fitness for duty of operational staff
• Employee relations and disciplinary procedures
• Safety and service quality
• Production bonuses and shift scheduling
• Parking availability and unassigned shifts
