Trams running until 2:00 a.m.
Concerts are returning to the Visarno Hippodrome in Florence’s Cascine Park, with events expected to bring thousands of spectators to the city. In preparation for a record number of passengers, the tram network will extend service on Lines T1 and T2 until 2:00 a.m. for the following scheduled events: The Cure, Cesare Cremonini, Linkin Park, and My Chemical Romance.
To facilitate the flow of concertgoers leaving the venue, more frequent tram services will operate during peak demand hours.
GEST is preparing to accommodate the high demand for transport to and from the Cascine area, where the following concerts will take place at the Visarno Arena:
- The Cure – Sunday, June 14
- Cesare Cremonini – Wednesday, June 17
- Linkin Park – Friday, June 26
- My Chemical Romance – Wednesday, July 15
Each year, thousands of spectators choose the tram as the easiest way to reach the Visarno Hippodrome during concerts at the Cascine.
Enhanced Service Details
For these events, tram services will run until 2:00 a.m., an extended schedule normally reserved only for Fridays and Saturdays. At the end of the concerts, to ease passenger departures, additional late-night services will also operate on the evenings of June 14, June 17, and July 15 (which fall on Sunday and Wednesday), with trams running every 7 to 9 minutes depending on passenger volume.
For the other Firenze Rocks concert dates, the standard night service schedule will remain in place.

The tram is a convenient and environmentally friendly choice: you can leave your vehicle at home or in park-and-ride facilities while helping to protect the city park and the environment.
How to Reach the Venue
- If arriving via Line T2, get off at San Donato (Università) stop. From there, the Visarno Arena can be reached on foot in approximately 20 minutes.
- If arriving via Line T1, get off at Cascine (Carlo Monni) stop, located near the Visarno Arena.
RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
To ensure smooth operations and respect for all passengers, please follow these simple guidelines:
- Given the large crowds, please wait patiently for the first available tram.
- While waiting, do not push onto the platform or near the tracks.
- If there are passengers with reduced mobility, disabilities, elderly passengers, or pregnant women, allow them to board first and offer them a seat (wheelchair spaces are available onboard).
- Spread out along the entire platform to ensure smooth and even boarding.
- Help keep doors clear so trams can depart quickly and the next tram can arrive sooner.
- Remember that tram services will continue until 2:00 a.m.
- Choosing the tram for the concert is a sustainable choice.
- Using it responsibly is a sign of civic awareness.
