SCANDICCI, 16 March 2026 – Following a request from the Municipality of Florence and the Civil Protection Authority, on the occasion of the vote counting for the Referendum scheduled for 22 and 23 March 2026, tram lines T1 and T2 will operate an extended special service during the night between 23 and 24 March, running until 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The decision has been made to ensure access to public transport, particularly for members of the overseas polling stations at Fortezza da Basso, at the end of election operations, which may continue into the early hours of the morning of 24 March.
