FLORENCE, 20 August 2026 – Due to the orange weather alert, the Municipality of Florence has ordered the closure of parks, gardens, regulated-access green areas, and cemeteries from 10:00 PM today, 20 August, until 6:00 PM tomorrow, Friday 21 August.

Starting from 5:00 PM today, a yellow weather alert is in effect.

As a result of the municipal ordinance, the “Cascine” stop on Tram Line T1 will also be suspended until 6:00 PM tomorrow.

Citizens are also advised to avoid outdoor activities and areas near rivers.
