SCANDICCI, 28 January 2026 – Due to adverse weather conditions, the lifting works on the Margherita Hack Bridge have been postponed to tomorrow, Thursday 29 January, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The operation will be carried out during Thursday night only.

From 10 p.m. until the end of service, Line T2 will operate on a reduced route from Peretola Airport to Regione and back, and from Redi to San Marco Università and back.

Replacement bus services will be available between the Regione and Redi stops in both directions.

The crossing of the cycle path adjacent to the viaduct will remain closed until the works are completed.
Throughout the duration of the works, the monitoring stations installed in recent days will continue to operate to detect any abnormal movement of the bridge structure.

On Friday morning, trams will resume traveling at the usual operating speed, which had been reduced to 10 km/h since 31 December.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, postponing the intervention may be considered.
